An native of North Carolina, I was named after an olympian spirit, Angel by my mother. My family name started as Brodous or Broadas, then eventually changed by my great-grandfather, Mountain Broady, into Broady. No, it isn't pronounce as Broad-ie; its pronounce as Bro-dy. I was raised in a world that neglected art. In spite of isolation, creativity has always been a door to imagination, dreams, faith, and creative thinking. I completed my unigraduate and graduate degree in Fine Arts. After college, I joined the Army. As one always thinks, there's not many opportunities from learning institutions; but financial debt. After active duty, I joined the National Guard until April of 2024. Since my time in college, I've been creating art in sadness, detactionment, depression, rejuvenation, and relapse. Some would say art is the outlet of my life. I don't agree, but its extention of my personality. A purely honest creative body of art. This isn't all; my goal after college was to create an online business. It required books and self-education, but I managed to do it. I have five different online art shops and created an affiliate website to be used a funnel of each product. Making art, owning a domain, marketing products, traveling, and exhibiting art solo is never easy. My website, www.gabrielbroadyart.com has been a work of progress.
