About BAM Bags

Beth A. Metsch (BAM) is the owner, creator and US Patent holder for BAM Bags™ THE ORIGINAL ZIPPURSE® made of one continuous single zipper. While working as an architect in NYC, Beth began designing limited edition handmade leather and fabric bags. After relocating to Colorado, and gaining more space for her bag creations, Beth's Mom asked Beth to make her a bag out of zippers from the zippers laying around the workshop. When it comes to design, Beths loves a challenge. Beth's final bag design that she presented to her mother was made out of one high strength continuous zipper. That first Zippurse™ design was so entertaining, her mother ordered one and retailers immediately followed. This was the defining moment for Beth's transition from buildings to bags. BAM Bags™ are fun and functional for all ages and activities. Women, Children and Men find these lightweight, washable bags useful for evenings out, travel, work and to the gym. BAM Bags™ are so unique that they have earned three US Patients. They were even awarded "Colorado's Most Therapeutic Accessory Product" Beth Holds a Degree in Architecture from the University of Miami and a Masters in Architecture & Urban Design from Columbia University in NYC.
