About the Artist and her Studio: The Kaleidoscope Designs Studio is the brainchild of classically trained painter Barbara Barratt of Santa Fe, New Mexico. “We were founded in 1997 and have remained true to our small studio vision – hands-on personal production by an all-female team overseen by an artist’s eye.” As a longtime resident of Santa Fe, Barbara has embraced the strong local aesthetic, reinterpreting unique and classic images in her own unique folk art style. Her colorful style is the result of a lifetime working in the arts as an illustrator, poster artist, and greeting card designer. “Since 1997 we have been blessed to do what we love in one of the most beautiful places in the world. It has been a longtime tradition for the staff to take an afternoon break every day to enjoy each other and the gorgeous Santa Fe landscape.
