I’m Marie, an artist based in Nottingham, UK. My work is inspired by animals, wildlife, and the beauty of the natural world. I work across pencil, pastel, and watercolour, enjoying the unique character each medium brings - from detailed realism to the unpredictable, expressive nature of watercolour. Art has always been my passion. For many years I developed my skills alongside work and raising my two children, always holding onto the goal of becoming a professional artist. In 2020, I turned that dream into reality, and today I’m grateful to run my art practice full-time. Every piece I create is rooted in a lifelong love of animals and nature. Through my artwork, I hope to spark joy and help people feel more connected to the world we share.
