About Brighton Water Shoes

Flying off the shelves in coastal gift shops, Brighton Water Shoes bring a pop of colour and practicality to the beach. Brighton Water Shoes began on Brighton Beach with a simple idea — sea swimming on pebbles should feel joyful, not painful. We couldn’t find water shoes that were light enough to swim in, grippy enough for slippery slipways, and stylish enough to love. So we designed our own. Our shoes pair a soft, quick-draining upper with a flexible rubber sole, making them brilliant on pebbles, hot sand and wet decks alike. Each pair comes in cheerful, Brighton-inspired colours — Palace Pier Pink, Lifebuoy Orange, Sunburst Yellow, Lifeguard Red, Horizon Blue, Sea Green and Black Rock — and includes a breathable mesh bag for easy packing and drying. They’ve been featured in The Times, The Guardian and The Telegraph, and are already stocked in National Trust shops along the South Coast as well as a growing number of seaside boutiques.
