Hi, I’m Heather 👋 Founder, designer, and full-time glitter enthusiast behind By Heather Filby. What started as a little lockdown experiment has turned into my full-time job, five years in, and honestly a career I didn’t even know I was craving. I make quirky, playful, statement resin jewellery and hair accessories — life’s too short for boring earrings, right? I’ve always loved showing off my personality through clothes and accessories, and I’m a huge statement earring fan. But big jewellery is often heavy and uncomfortable. Enter resin: loud, fun, glitter-packed pieces that are lightweight (no saggy earlobes here!). Every piece is designed and handmade by me in my South London studio. I spend my days dreaming up new designs, experimenting with colours, and hunting glitter in charity shops, on eBay, or anywhere I can find it. ONE of my favourite things about running BHF is seeing my designs in shops, galleries, cafés, and even museums across the UK and beyond — nothing beats seeing my creations loved by others. At its heart, By Heather Filby is about confidence, fun, and self-expression. My pieces are made to help you feel empowered, enhance your style, and make getting dressed joyful.
