I’m Sarah, a surface pattern designer and former Social Worker from St. Louis, MO, who has also made a home in Barcelona, Spain. My work is a combination of pen and ink line art, digital art, and watercolor that reflects curiosity and an appreciation for irony. Often the small things spark joy and inspiration: food, travel (especially train travel), insects, animals and plant life. I approach design in my own way, without a formula, in the hope that the end result is a one of a kind piece. My work has been called "subtly clever", and that captures what I strive to bring to my customers. The designs play so well with silk and satin scarves! The sheen of these scarves is perfect for showing off interesting line work and textured details. I have carefully selected a professional, small scale production studio to print my scarves with durable inks on their highest quality, smoothest silk and thick, soft satin.
