About Earth Glitter

Having caught the entrepreneurial bug at a young age, starting a business was always something I wanted to do. A lover of both glitter and Mother Earth, Earth Glitter was born from the desire to provide an affordable and eco-friendly glitter product. Did you know that conventional glitter is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic? Not only does it take decades to break down, but it’s also too small to be filtered out of water. As a result, it ends up as microplastics in our waterways. Earth Glitter is made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus trees. The wood pulp is broken down into plant cellulose, replacing the need for PET. The biodegradation process begins when it comes in contact with microorganisms in the natural environment and wastewater. We like to give back by donating 5% of all proceeds to Green Peace.Read their story
