Houston-native Shanquita Greggs, founder of Simply Scents Candle Company, started her journey 22 years ago in her grandmother's kitchen. After leaving her flight attendant job post-September 11th, she invested her $467 paycheck into candle-making and became a thriving entrepreneur. With a background in the U.S. Air Force, she advocates for the disabled community by offering job skills and training. Simply Scents features the signature 8 oz. triple scented hand-poured paraffin/soy blended candles. Each candle has a burn time of up to 45 hrs.
