Our journey began in the heart of our home—our kitchen. What started as a simple request from my wife— “Can you season this for me?”—quickly turned into a passion project rooted in love, health, and a desire for clean eating. She loved the way I seasoned her dishes and kept asking, “What did you use this time?” I’d try to explain my mix of herbs and spices, but the truth was—it was never exactly the same. That’s when the idea clicked. I already loved homemaking, gardening, and creating clean, organic options for our family. Why not make something from scratch—something healthy, natural, and free from the harsh chemicals found in many store-bought blends? A seasoning that I could feel good about putting on the table for my wife and kids. So, I did just that. I did what any father and husband would do. I spent a huge amount of money buying everything and telling my wife it's for a "New Spice company" I wanted to start. It didn't win her over at first, until she tasted it. Our first blend didn’t even have a name—it was simply a homemade mix of organic vegetables, herbs, and spices. We shared it with close friends, family, and coworkers, and after six months of taste-testing and fine-tuning, it became known affectionately as “The OG.” The response was overwhelmingly positive, and word-of-mouth quickly turned our homemade seasoning into a must-have in many kitchens.
