Runako’s creator, Tawanda Gumbo, struggled with dry skin for years, and decided to try to make his own body butter, one batch at a time. Experimenting with different butters and various essential oils, the result became a beloved household product. That butter is now known as Runako Healthy Skin Organic Body Butter. Our butter uses beeswax imported directly from Tawanda’s homeland, Zimbabwe, shea butter sourced from Ghana, organic cocoa butter and essential oils that are all organic and natural. As Runako & Company, our mission is to ensure our products remain natural and organic. We strive to use the best ingredients from the best locations on the African continent and the world.
