About MISA Collective

Started by two childhood best friends who returned to their homeland of New Zealand after each living abroad in the world’s largest cities, MISA Collective was born from a shared desire to educate and curate a sustainable way of living and to pass on an Earth worth inheriting to our young ones. Heading back to our roots and culture seemed the perfect way to start. We wanted to provide a practical and simple way for everyone to use less plastic and consume thoughtfully. Our product was inspired by the banning of plastic bags but the continued availability of single-use produce bags. By creating our reusable produce bags from RPET; recycled plastic, we are able to close the loop on plastic and give renewed value to bottles otherwise destined for a landfill. We believe integrity is important, we searched for the right manufacturer who could guarantee the responsibility of recycling and fair working conditions. We also believe eco-friendly can still mean beautiful and have thoughtfully designed our product to be as stylish as it is practical.
