About Meal of the Moment

We - Prateek & Mugdha Bhagchandka started Meal of the Moment in early 2017 with one simple goal –To make everyday moments magical with food inspired by Mom’s love. Both of us left home for our higher education and often found ourselves craving a good ol’ Dal Chawal or Poha. How such meals were our happy place and reminded us of home, and more importantly, of our mothers. But none of the options out there were anything worth writing home about. That’s when we realised just how lucky we were to eat healthy and wholesome food, meal after meal, courtesy our mothers. Years later when we met (and eventually got married) and happened to discuss our time abroad, this was the one thing that stood out. And that’s when we knew there was a gap in the market that needed filling. We spent the next few years building our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Simultaneously, we spoke to our beloved aunts and mothers to get our hands on age-old family recipes. And that’s how we were able to create a range that’s reminiscent of childhood. One that excites the taste buds and soothes the soul.
