CRAFTING THE AMERICAN DREAM Based in Petaluma, CA and founded by a 3rd generation Bay Area local, WIES><MADE was created out of Nic’s lifelong dream to make premium jeans and knitwear; farmed, milled & sewn in the USA. With 20 plus years in the industry and a passion coming from his San Francisco denim roots, WIES><MADE was born. THE FARM TO FABRIC APPROACH Nic’s passion for sustainability and quality set him on a two-year journey of testing fabrics from all over the world. After testing every fiber available it became clear that locally sourced natural fiber (Farmed, Milled & Sewn in the USA) was the best way to hit the sustainably and quality mark. We take the “farm to table” approach to build a collection where every piece from fiber and buttons to fabric and sewing is exclusively American grown and made. Less than 3% of clothing sold in the USA is made here and of that 3% a fraction is made with fabric and fiber locally sourced. A LOCAL SUPPLY CHAIN OF FAMILY RUN SHOPS From farm to fabric our line is farmed, milled & sewn in the USA. We are a small family run shop and we have built an ecosystem of family run farms, knit/weaving mills and sewing shops to feed our obsession for high quality fabrics. From our custom made 14oz broken twill denim to our French Terry and Jersey knits our products are made with our bespoke fabrics crafted by artisans that are the best at their craft. Read their story
