HAIR DEUX was founded by former D1 athlete and designer Carmin Black, who spent years searching for a hair tie that actually worked — one that wouldn’t snap, pull, or end up in a landfill. When she couldn’t find it, she made it. Our hair ties are latex-, rubber-, and plastic-free, made with eco-conscious materials from Japan that stretch without breaking and hold all day. They’re clear, flat, and comfortable enough to wear on your wrist or in your hair — built for women who live in motion. But HAIR DEUX is more than just a product line — it’s a movement to replace the traditional black elastic and to empower women to feel strong, capable, and confident every day.
