Thiele glasses are made of added polycarbonate. Polycarbonate (PC) is a material with very high mechanical resistance but with limited dynamic resistance. For this reason, our glasses are produced by adding a percentage of ABS to the virgin PC granule, a polymer with elastic fibers that incredibly increases its resistance to torsion and flexion. In addition, thanks to the flex rods equipped with a spring mechanism, they are comfortable and light, adapting perfectly to any type of face. Polycarbonate lenses guarantee 100% protection from UV rays and maximum impact resistance.
