Usage advice Sterile scalpel blades No. 10 are used with a blade holder handle No. 3 or No. 9. They are particularly suitable for the treatment of plantar corns, calluses, and heel callosities. Cleaning and decontamination advice Swann-Morton sterile scalpel blades are single-use. They must be disposed of after each use. The blade holder handle, in its stainless steel format, is reusable and must be decontaminated in an ultrasonic bath and then sterilized in an autoclave.
