The organic cotton used by the producer group that makes our textile range, the Indian cooperative Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills, comes from the Chetna Organic association, where more than 7,000 farmers grow sustainable cotton without chemicals or pesticides. Chetna Organic works with small and marginal farmers to improve their livelihoods and make farming a sustainable and profitable profession. Chetna’s strength has always been its reliance on collective action and a fair supply chain. The positive outcomes of this project can be seen in the stabilized socioeconomic conditions achieved for this group of small farmers. All our organic cotton products are GOTS certified.
