NaturKraftWerke sesame oil made from black sesame is exceptionally stable compared to many other native vegetable oils. The most important valuable accompanying substances are sesamoline and sesamine. They have an antioxidant effect, thus preserving and protecting the sometimes “unstable” chemical architectures of fatty acids from unfavourable transformations and the fat-soluble vitamins from decay. Compared to “sensitive” oils, the result is a comparably long and uncomplicated shelf life as well as good heatability of the unroasted sesame oil, which is gently cold-pressed in the NaturKraftWerke production facility in the Zurich Oberland. Sesame oil is explicitly suitable for searing and heating in the kitchen. Also known and popular for cosmetic purposes and as a massage oil.
