Wholesale Light - Graphic Novel on Mental Health

A small graphic novel (zine, comic) about a platypus, wandering deeper into his dream, helping a giant toad, known as 'the presence' to face his demons. Based on 14 prompts of Inktober 2023, with illustrations and a bit of text. Written and illustrated by Nadie van Wijk Story: The story revolves around a Platypus exploring its dreams and encountering a large toad named 'the presence.' Together, they delve into the dreamworld, confronting a neglected and troubling entity—the demon, concealed and avoided for too long. In a surprising turn, the toad becomes an ally, reaching out to the tormented demon and breaking its chains. As the Platypus awakens, it comes to realize that life is more complex than it initially appeared. The narrative subtly emphasizes the importance of facing one's own demons for mental well-being, shedding light on the transformative power that arises when you confront and overcome personal struggles. The graphic novel will be packed in cellophane. The illustrations are rich black with vibrant colours (yellow). I've chosen for a special coating on the cover.
