This conserves resources, as no new crude oil has to be extracted for the raw material and because significantly less CO₂ is produced when recycling PE compared to the production of new granulate. Certification - Blue Angel The bags are manufactured in the EU and are certified with the Blue Angel. They fulfil the strict requirements of the ‘DE-UZ 30a’ award criteria. This allows them to bear the internationally recognised and one of the most demanding environmental labels in the world. The Blue Angel, which has been the German government's environmental label for over 45 years, provides guidance when purchasing and identifies products that are more environmentally friendly than other products of the same use. Ideal for particularly heavy waste Our 120 L bin liners with a film thickness of 100 μm can be used to safely dispose of heavy waste in the home, garden and business. Ideal for renovation and commercial waste. As the bags are made from a mono-material (PE), they are very easy to recycle. The film-free packaging - a banderole made from FSC-certified kraft paper - can also be recycled in waste paper. When the bags are used for residual waste, the high heating value of the material used comes into effect in the subsequent waste incineration process: this means that a lot of energy can be recovered. This makes particular sense from an ecological point of view, at least as long as fossil raw materials (e.g. crude oil) are used to generate energy. In addition, PE film burns without leaving any residue to form carbon dioxide and water.
