In India, where bicycles, motorcycles, and motorized rickshaws are often the primary means of transportation, used bicycle chains abound. These unique boxes made of used bicycle chains, not only make a great gift for holding jewelry and small knick knacks but also help to take care of the environment by giving new life to these chains. Handmade using recycled materials by artisans in India at Kamrool Hassan's workshop, one of many fair trade workshops sponsored by Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark is an NGO founded in 1986 by Samuel Masih, one of the leaders in the movement to pay fair wages to artisans in India. Outside Dimensions: 3-3/8" wide x 2-3/4" high. Inside Dimensions: 2-3/4" wide x 2" deep. Handmade in India and fair trade imported.

Steer far away from this company. When we asked for a refund on the items we were shamed in a lengthy message, lecturing us and then saying he could resell to a host of more compassionate people. He said the damaged hearts were the last he had & if we were kind people we would just accept them. When I wrote back to ask why he was treating us this way, he laughed and proceeded to write a message dripping with sarcasm about how compassionate we are. Absolutely uncalled for harassment.
