* Selling Unit: 1 * The Transferring Racking Cane is a plastic tool used for transferring fluids. Its length is 76.2 cm (30 inches), and its diameter is 0.5 inches (12.7 mm). It's made out of clear food-grade acrylic tubing and is BPA-free. The cane is equipped with a bright red anti-sediment tip visible in the carboy while transferring wine or beer. The delicate bend of the siphon tube allows for faster transfer of liquids by reducing turbulence during siphoning. This product is not resistant to high levels of alcohol and should not be sanitized with alcohol. Acrylic is safe for prolonged exposure to ABV (alcohol by volume) up to 15%. It is safe up to 30% ABV for short periods (10 minutes or so). However, exposing acrylic to more than 30% ABV is unsafe as it could damage the acrylic and potentially leach into the liquid. If you need to exceed these limits, please use a different product. The maximum temperature for this product is 60 °C (140 °F). * Product of Canada
