Lévrat, architect, draws a French-style garden seen in perspective. Flagstone paths, central fountain, tubs of clipped boxwood, trees shaped into spheres. All in green and cream, full page, framed by a double rule. An issue kept as much for its cover as for its contents. Inside unfolds the world of French poultry farming and gardening of the interwar period. Armor incubators from Widow Th. Mangel in Versailles, the quintessential brand.
