About MARO

MARO is a shortened form of marrow, which means the inmost or most essential part. It also means strength and vitality. At MARO, we care not only about how our apparel performs on the outside, but what it's doing to us on the inside. It's time for a holistic approach to athletic apparel built with three pillars: performance, health, and nature. We use natural fibers without compromising on the performance that athletes have come to expect from the synthetic materials that dominate the market today. Finally, we are fully circular. When customers are done with our items, they are encouraged to return them (free of charge) and get 10% of their original purchase price back from us. We take their worn athletic apparel and make sure it is recycled into new athletic apparel, upycled, or composted. The core of our mission is to force the athletic apparel industry to commit to minimizing waste and shift away from petroleum-based materials.Read their story
