About LES SCULPTEURS DU LAC

In 1976, a souvenir shop opened on the shores of Lake Montriond (Haute-Savoie), which gives pride of place to carved wooden objects. 15 years later, when Muriel Païs takes over the small family business, she wants to make it grow, make it live differently. Since visitors love crafts, she decides to invite a specialist in wicker, wood, sculpture every day... Thus, ladles, baskets, hoods, all kinds of objects directly derived from mountain traditions are created in front of the public. The interest is there, all that remains is to make it evolve, to give it the opportunity to go beyond the borders of Lake Montriond. To do so, the brand “Les Sculpteurs du Lac” was born in 2000. Today, Les Sculpteurs du Lac are the creators of all products, which are then made by European or foreign craftsmen based on their know-how and the materials needed to make the products. We have also brought an even more personal touch with the creation of our line of old wood furniture entirely designed and produced in our workshops in Montriond.Read their story
