About Crumb La Dote

Owned and operated by Sarah MacKenzie, a writer by trade, Crumb La Dote’s cards boast many colourful characters—and a fair bit of banter too. Our cards feature a mix of vintage imagery and original illustrations. Maximal in design, colour, and pattern, Crumb La Dote takes its inspiration from children’s literature illustrations, home interiors, antiques, and vintage wallpapers. We appreciate a wobbly line, a crooked frame, a shifty smile, and an off-kilter comment. Occasionally, we’ll even dabble with a mixed metaphor. It’s titillating. Read their story
