In Apecchio, a town on the Marche hills, on the border with Umbria, continues a success story that began in 2001. This is where Giuseppe Collesi started a distillery with the firm desire to build a solid company that could compete with the big brands in the sector. With the same determination, in 2005, spurred on by the Belgian ambassador, his old friend, he created the Collesi brewery, a company that for years has been recognized as a craft beer producer most awarded Italian in the world. The skills acquired in the sector led Giuseppe Collesi to establish Sorgente di Birra, the first in the world to extract the active and beneficial ingredients of beer. Thanks to the activity of the Collesi laboratories, Craft Beer Therapy and Skin Beer were born. Today the Collesi Group diversifies its activities between spirits, beers, cosmetics, perfumery, hotels and wellness. The first and only Skin Beer is another of Giuseppe Collesi's great insights, during his activity, between brewery and distillery, he has had the opportunity to study all the effects that beer has on our organism. Thus, considering the antioxidant properties of this drink, the rich heritage of vitamins (which favor the regenerating action of cells) and the effects on pigmentation (which makes the skin soft and smooth), he understood that it would be a key ingredient for specialized skincare products.
