Om Atelier Marée

In our ceramics we are working with the ever changing Wadden Sea and the tides that are unique to the area as an inspiration. We designed the shape of the cup as an invitation to touch it, the flowing shape fits perfectly in your hand and the glaze and curves is a tactile sensation. Inviting the viewer to slow down and explore the crafts. The cups and plates are made for use, to elevate the everyday experience. In our glazing we leave a trace of the human hand, leaving places of raw porcelain where the maker held it in production, also telling the story of glaze as ebb and flow in the Wadden sea.
