Vaughts' grundlægger, Anna, brugte år på at rejse verden rundt og prøve hver chokoladebar, hun fandt undervejs, og hun blev ved med at opdage den „bedste chokolade, hun nogensinde havde smagt“, indtil hendes smag overgik, hvad hun kunne finde.
