Munkebo Seafood has been crafting seafood since 1974. Originally founded by Hawesta and F. Tengberg, the company took a new direction in 1997 when four new owners, known as the "four-leaf clover," took over and renamed it Munkebo Seafood A/S. In 2022, after 25 years of ownership, Bakkafrost acquired 90% of the factory, while the managing director retained 10%. This marked a new chapter in our journey, strengthening our commitment to quality and innovation. At Munkebo Seafood, we take new approaches to create unique taste experiences. We love challenging ourselves by experimenting with ingredients and flavor combinations, and our flexible production allows us to develop both small and large batches – always with a focus on high quality.
