Yak cheese for dogs A long time ago, perched over 3,000 meters above sea level in the Himalayan mountains, nomadic peoples lived in harmony with an animal as robust as it is mythical: the yak. The yak, a large ruminant with thick fur, is a pillar of Tibetan life.
