We're Hanlun and Zi — and Whispering Woods began in 2012 as a small family workshop with one belief: handmade jewelry deserves a handmade stage. It started with a few walnut display stands we made for a friend's market stall. Retailers kept asking where they came from, and slowly, order by order, our family studio grew around that question. Today our parents, cousins, and a small team of craftspeople we've worked with for over a decade design and make every piece together — and after all these years, several hundred thousand displays have left our workbenches and found their way onto boutique counters, market tables, and shop windows around the world. Everything we make is an original design, born from listening to the people who use it: solid walnut and FAS-grade black walnut with brass details, natural marble and travertine, and soft vegan suede that photographs beautifully. We test each design in real retail settings before it joins our catalog, because a display has one job — to hold the eye a second longer, then hand all the attention to the jewelry.
