MARRA brings the colour, craftsmanship and spirit of Morocco to contemporary homes. Founded by James Ghanbouri, who grew up between British and Moroccan influences, the brand was created to offer a fresh perspective on the objects and traditions that have long been part of Moroccan life. Our story began with the tagine. For generations, it has been at the heart of Moroccan cooking made for slow meals, shared tables and bringing people together. We wanted to preserve everything that makes it special while reimagining its colours and patterns for today's home. Working directly with skilled makers in Morocco, our tagines are individually crafted and hand-painted using traditional techniques. The result is functional cookware that is also designed to be displayed: distinctive, colourful pieces with a story customers can connect with. For our retail partners, MARRA offers an alternative to mass-produced homeware — products with genuine provenance, strong visual identity and the natural variations that make handmade pieces unique. And the tagine is only the beginning.
