About Gravesco Pottery
Gravesco makes handmade pottery that becomes part of the atmosphere and rhythm of a home. Every mug, bowl, serving piece, and functional ceramic begins as a block of clay and is thoughtfully made by hand in our Indianapolis studio. We believe the objects we live with every day quietly shape how a space feels and how we move through it. I’ve spent years making objects that live in people’s homes. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how pottery can do more than hold something—how it can shape the feeling of a room. Whether it’s the mug you reach for every morning, the bowl that anchors a family meal, or the serving piece that’s brought out for gatherings, these small rituals become part of the rhythm of daily life. Our work is rooted in craftsmanship, intentional design, and the belief that functional pottery should be used often, not saved for special occasions. We create timeless stoneware that feels equally at home in quiet mornings, busy kitchens, and shared tables. Because every piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike. If you’ve ordered a particular form or glaze before, expect subtle variations from one production run to the next. Our glazes naturally shift like dye lots, and every piece carries the marks of the hands that made it—not molds or machines. Those differences aren’t flaws; they’re the quiet evidence that someone made it, one piece at a time.

Really lovely garlic grater plates! Super high quality and we love that it's obvious they're handcrafted with care & love. We think they'll sell quickly and we will absolutely be back to order more! We wrote directions on the price tag and mentioned that folks could make a dip right on the plate and serve it directly since the plate is so lovely.
