In spring 2018, inspired by his 90-year-old Wingman’s deteriorating wallet, Jay committed to crafting something timeless. With determination, he dived into leatherworking, repurposing thrift store leather jackets and pants. With each stitch, Jay honed his skills, experimenting and designing patterns until he confidently invested in a leather hide. December 2018 marked the emergence of a masterpiece – a wallet standing the test of time, a heartfelt gift for his Wingman’s birthday.
