About ERMIN WEST

Growing up in Chicago I naturally gravitated towards expressing myself artistically. The midwest is known for being an industrial blue-collar town. The old abandon buildings with wall art intrigued me and always seem to tell a story. It wasn’t until years later that I learned many of those abandoned buildings were built many decades ago with historic relevance. I also appreciated the renovation efforts that went into restoring many of these landmarks. So, when I set out to find my way in the design world, I found myself finding inspiration from making old things new. Years later I relocated to Dallas Texas and I was introduced to a mixture of a cowboy aesthetic intermingled in urban culture. Ermin West print art designs are inspired by Western Americana. I aspire to craft pieces that will give your abode a sense of warmth that pays homage to a part of our American heritage. Each design is printed on textured velvet fine art paper using high-quality archival inks that are meant to last for many years. Ermin means (soldier) and West means (horizon).
