I'm Josiane, the creator of Iwalewa. I would define myself as determined, anti-codes, flirtatious but... Busy! I've lived through whole Sundays spent maintaining my frizzy hair. Fed up with this waste of time and passionate about cosmetics, I started preparing my own skincare. I started by bringing together the different stages of the shampoo/conditioner/care process. Today I formulate hair products all in one Iwalewa armed with my degree in plant biotechnology. The idea of basing all our production on the African continent came to me when the manager of an Ardèche laboratory told me that he did not want to work with African suppliers because they only produce poor quality. Beauty treatments carried out in the laboratory by cosmetology experts in Africa, it was an opportunity to reveal a more positive image of the continent while supporting its industrialization.Read their story
