My name is Abby, and I am a self-taught watercolor artist! I have a background in neuroscience and a masters degree in biotechnology from Brown University. I began painting when the pandemic began by watching a few YouTube tutorials. A few friends and family started requesting I paint their pets. I started painting for donations to local charities. After painting a bunch of pets, I realized I could make a business out of this. After my business took off, I was able to leave my job as a scientist and pursue this full- time. Since then, I have developed my own unique style of watercolor illustrations and have had great success selling prints of my own original pieces on my website, at in person events, and in stores.
