About Les Rhums Gadyamb

We created Gadyamb in Bordeaux in 2018, with the desire to discover the richness of the Réunion region through our finely arranged rums. This desire has resulted in unique rums, both in terms of the method used and in the sourcing of raw materials. All the ingredients in the recipe are selected on site and directly with our producers in Reunion. They work with respect for nature, organically and biodynamically. The other particularity of our arranged rums is that they are made in tanks to control the aromatic balance and sweetness. They are then filtered before bottling, to guarantee aromatic and visual stability over time. Also independent breeders and bottlers, we select a few juices a year, always from Réunion, from white and old rums. We then age these juices in different barrels. French oak, American oak, ex-Bourbon, ex-cognac, ex-red or sweet wine, refurbished barrels... The possibilities are almost endless, but require know-how, special attention, and a lot of patience.Read their story
