About Maine Shellware

Welcome! Maine Shellware LLC is a family owned small business, located in the heart of Maine.  The Klam Family has owned the company since 2012.  Our Company utilizes reclaimed Maine lobster, mussel, & clam shells as well as our stunning abalone and mother of pearl shells to create a variety of home goods and jewelry.   Artisan/co owner Nicole Klam and artisan Amy Douglass hand create our products at our workshop & studio on Union Street in Bangor, Maine. Both have many years experience in creating and designing our beautiful and functional products.  We continue to develop innovative new ways of incorporating our resources into new and exciting products!   We love what we do, and we know your customers will enjoy taking home a little piece of the Coast!Read their story
