Kova was founded by a father–daughter duo with a lifelong love of dogs, the outdoors, and quality gear. What started as a shared passion grew into a simple idea: make dog leashes that last longer, feel better to use, and don’t end up in landfills. Each Kova leash is made from 2R and 3R climbing rope, giving new life to reused and recycled production waste while delivering strength, a lightweight feel, and real durability. We design every detail with intention, from reliable hardware to thoughtful construction, and we offer free repairs for life to keep our products in use, not tossed aside. Our brand is inspired by the dogs who’ve shaped our live, from Nugget, our first lab, to Marshall, our rescue from Georgia, reminding us that the best gear is built to support years of walks, trails, and everyday adventures. For every 20 leashes sold, we donate one to shelters and community partners. Kova exists to make better gear, reduce waste, and support the dogs and people who make life richer.Read their story
