About Mae Roots

I am Nicole, the creator behind Mae Roots cosmetics. My journey to creating a plant-based product line started with my lifestyle changes in 2014. Over the last six years, I’ve dedicated and educated myself on healthy eating and the natural way of living-going back to our intended way of life-our roots. My interest has always been drawn to knowing how the body functions at its most natural state and how the environment, herbs, food, activities and skincare care products correlate to a person's health and wellness. Overtime, skincare and healthcare became tunnel focused for me, that’s all my energy is drawn to. I’ve read numerous books from African Holistic Health, Back to Eden to Dr. Sebi’s autobiography, continuous research on raw herbs, treatments, materials and information for product development, took courses on skincare formulation and umpteen trial and errors.
