Purely Local didn’t start as a business plan. It started as a mom trying to take better care of her child. What began with making lip balms and eczema creams for my youngest son quickly became something more. After surviving childhood cancer, I became deeply aware of how much what we put in and on our bodies matters. That experience changed the way I raise my kids and the standards I hold for the products we use every day. I started researching ingredients. Learning formulations. Questioning labels. Making things myself because I wanted to know exactly what was going into my children’s bodies, and my own. Those early recipes turned into a bigger purpose. Purely Local exists to create products made with intention, education, and care. We don’t follow trends or rush things to the shelf. Every product is thoughtfully formulated, researched, and made in small batches because doing it right matters to us. This brand is rooted in family, health, and community.
