We live in a small town that grew up around Southern Railroad. Spencer was the hub between D.C. and Atlanta, GA. Our family worked at the Spencer Shops which is now home to one of the largest Transportation Museums around. We wanted a brand that would represent where we are from and the history that surrounds us. The Old 97 Engine was traveling from VA to Spencer when it jumped the trestle. We loved the story and that is how our name came to be. Our mission is to provide our customers homemade kettlecorn that warrants their approval and purchase.
