About ZeNA

ZeNA is an Italian project by artist Martina Zena that creates accessories for the home and the person, outlining a visionary and exotic world using a variety of materials and products such as ceramics, fabrics, clothing and paintings. ZeNA came to life in the summer of 2020 and incorporates all the "active principles" of previous research, condensing them into an imaginary inspired by islands of sea and plains. The work always starts from original pieces and drawings, which are then adapted onto different materials and objects. The main body of the ZeNA collection consists of ceramics for home decor and tableware, entirely hand-painted, making each piece unique. The Beachwear collection, together with silk scarves and hair ties, represents the translation of the designs into the textile world. As a creative, she has worked several times on site-specific projects for private clients and companies.
