Bookish luxury candles, hand-poured by a veteran in Southern California. Rebel & Eve was founded July 1, 2022 by Jammie Smith — a veteran, mother, and lifelong reader who wanted to build something that smelled like the quiet moments between chapters. What started in her kitchen has grown into a woman- and veteran-owned candle brand stocked by independent bookstores, gift shops, and lifestyle boutiques who value story as much as scent. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using premium coconut wax, phthalate- and paraben-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks for a clean, even burn. Housed in matte black glass with wood lids — built for elegance, gifting, and repeat display. Our 2026 mission: 100 independent bookstores. Jammie is beyond helpful and kind and her candles smell AMAZING. I ordered her candles as my bookish gift for my book club I fell in love with "Love Letters" but it was truly hard to pick just one scent. Her sample pack was great. The packaging is so cute and I definitely would order from her again.
