Aloha. My name is Leala. And this story, the story of our company, is personal. My mother Alice started this company 30 years ago on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Her driving impulse was love—love of flowers, Hawai’i, and human beings. She embodied the spirit of Aloha. And so, her company evolved to actualize that love. When she passed, my family decided to maintain her beautiful and heartfelt legacy. We renamed it Ua Body, which signifies rain in Hawaiian, and reminds us that nature is a powerful healer, and that we, in turn, must nurture and protect the earth. Our natural, clean, and vegan skin care products are all handcrafted in small batches in our workshop in Hawai’i.
