SOLANCO is a family business specializing in footwear and has been established in Tarn-et-Garonne since 1929. The story begins like a saga when Pierre ARAKELIAN, a young Armenian orphan, founded his company in 1929 and opened a very small workshop with his French wife. His idea: to make a quality, comfortable shoe that lasts and goes far! Upon the founder's succession in 1955, Raymond ARAKELIAN modernized and diversified the production tool. In 1990, the SARL SOLANCO was managed by the founder's two grandsons: Jean-Philippe and Pascal. In April 2023, Cyril ESCUDIE, with 15 years of service, decided to take over the company with his father Jean-Michel ESCUDIE following the retirement of the ARAKELIAN family.
