Hi everyone, first of all, thank you so much for visiting Biev! My name is Arda; I’m a 27-year-old entrepreneur. I attended Babson College in Wellesley, MA from 2013 until 2017 and got an entrepreneurship degree. Even before attending Babson, my dream was to be a business owner; I’ve had several online ventures in the past and I finally decided that e-commerce is what I like to do. I came back to Turkey in 2018 and got myself a job as an e-commerce manager for a local Turkish retail brand that specialized in high-end dinnerware sets and other dowry-related products. In August 2020, I was FaceTiming with my close friend from LA and we talked about handmade rugs. That night I decided I wanted to sell vintage rugs. I had to take some risks to build my business; so I quickly found local rug vendors and started building my inventory. I sold my first rug to an amazing customer in Toronto, Canada on the 4th of November, 2020. As of today (8th of November, 2022), I've sold 900 rugs and shipped them to almost all 50 American states! Today, my goal is to help you find your dream vintage rug.
